Liu Wen is a Chinese and well known top model. She was a tour guide until she joined a modeling contest in 2005. She didn’t win the contest but became a successful model eversince appearing in various magazines like V Magazine, W, the French, German, Chinese, Japanese, British, American, Portuguese and editions of Vogue and Teen Vogue. She has worked with top fashion photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti and Dan Jackson and has walked in many fashion shows such as that of Chanel, Balenciaga and Fendi. The biggest highlight of her career is her becoming the First Asian spokesmodel for Estee Lauder.
She is considered this 2011 to be one of three Asian top models to be leading down the world’s top catwalks and global billboards. The other two being Shu Pei, one of the faces of Maybelline cosmetics and our very own, Ford Supermodel 2011 winner Danica Magpantay.
